Welcome to BurnOut delivery services! Play as a delivery driver in a dystopian megastructure city. Drift through different neighborhoods to deliver all 4 packages as fast as possible.
BurnOut is a 4-week student game project. Our team was composed of 2 game designers and 4 artists.
My main contribution is the drifting mechanics of the player vehicle.

I implemented the drifting mechanics which utilized Tire Slip Graph in combination with physics thrusters to make the drift feels snappier.
The goal of the drifting mechanics was to add something for player to master while allowing them to traverse the track faster.
BurnOut have 4 sections in total and I was in charge of designing the track layout for 2 of the sections.
Our communication as a team fell short and I learned from that mistake to be more communicative. I gained technical skills from implementing the drifting mechanics and got to practice level design for designing the track layouts.
